FinLit is a gamified financial-literacy education app — short lessons on budgeting, saving, credit, and investing basics, plus a simulated investing game with fake money. Questions or problems? Start here.
Is the investing game real money?
No. The investing simulator uses entirely fake, simulated money and simulated market data. It's not connected to any real bank, brokerage, or financial account, and nothing in the app is financial advice.
Is FinLit free?
Yes. FinLit is free to download and use. Coins and other in-app items are earned only through gameplay — we don't sell coins or anything else for real money.
What age is FinLit for?
FinLit is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older.
How do the Budget Builder and Savings Goals tools work?
Any income, budget, or savings figures you enter into those tools are typed in by you for your own planning — they aren't retrieved from or connected to a real bank or brokerage account.
How do I delete my account?
From inside the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data and can't be undone. You can also email us (below) to request deletion.
How do I block or report another user?
Open their profile (from search, a leaderboard, or your friends list) and tap Block or Report.
